The lack of secure bicycle parking* is a serious but often neglected issue that discourages bicycling.
There are very few bicycle parking spots, so cyclists are forced to leave their bikes on the road*, and theft is a big problem.
*Specifically in the context of Bangalore, India (2022)
“A bike is expensive...its just not worth the risk if it gets stolen, so I’d rather just not bike”
“I am always anxious whenever I leave my bike”
“I would love to bike, if only there were places to securely park my bike...”

Code on the display that is scanned to get one slab.
Once the code is scanned, user receives an OTP that is used to unlock and lock the bicycle.
The connection to the app allows the user to have real time data about the bicycle state.
If the lock is tampered with, user receives an alert.

Step 3: The slab moves all the way down.
Step 4: Bicycles can be placed on the slab and the locks snap shut. The slab moves back to its place.
Step 1: The slab slides out once scanned and selected.
Step 2: The slab moves downwards.
